As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol - Government Site in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points while remaining alert to unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.Maintain a visible presence to help to deter criminal activity and provide a sense of security-related support to employees, visitors, and / or the public.Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, local law enforcement, and / or emergency personnel as needed.Document incidents and / or irregularities according to Allied Universal protocols and site-specific procedures.Carry a firearm in accordance with local laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies, maintaining control and handling with professionalism at all times.What We're Looking For :

Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.Possess an active Armed Guard Card or License.Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
