Job Description

Professional level sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and acquisition. Partners with the GM to manage Team Members. Requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, sourcing from various channels, and directing drivers for timely delivery. This is a full-time position.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain commercial customer relationships
  • Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
  • Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
  • Support Team Members' daily activities
  • Collaborate with GM on coaching and development
  • Dispatch drivers to ensure delivery standards
  • Maintain commercial stocking programs
  • Build and maintain a network of second-source suppliers

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Maintain core bank and commercial returns
  • Manage commercial credit accounts
  • Partner with GM for driver coverage

  • ASE P2 certification or equivalent

  • Essential Job Skills

  • Automotive systems knowledge and diagnostic ability
  • Effective communication in English (Spanish a plus)
  • Ability to interpret safety and operational documents
  • Complete Parts Knowledge Assessment successfully
  • Basic math skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Understanding of commercial profitability concepts
  • Flexible work schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
  • Prior Experience

    Minimum of 3 years automotive parts experience preferred, with proven sales ability and team leadership experience.

    Education

    High school diploma or GED required.

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

    ASE Certification preferred but not required.

    Physical Demands

    Walking, standing, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds occasionally, and other physical activities are required.

    Work Environment

    Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor tasks, exposure to various weather conditions, mechanical parts, and other hazards. Moderate noise level.

    Position is eligible for sales commission based on performance.

    Compensation Range

    $18.15 - $19.96 per hour
