Job Title : Order Fulfillment Team Lead

Job Summary The Order Fulfillment Team Lead oversees the day-to-day execution of order fulfillment operations. This individual is tasked with gaining competency in all team standard processes and will spend roughly half of his or her time doing the ground-level work with the remaining time spent responding to andon calls (problems and obstacles preventing team members from working to the expected productivity or quality metrics), and improving processes by eliminating wastes as defined by The Toyota Production System some of them including "Defects" and "Overproduction" (ask questions for more detail). This person will ensure quality standards are met and that team members are fully trained and capable of meeting expected KPIs.
Tasks
- Respond to Andon calls (work through a specific process of problem solving trained by management)
- Train team members on processes and how to work to standard.
- Ensure quality and productivity expectations are being met.
- Help identify and eliminate waste in the system.
- Knowing the day-to-day schedule, when drop offs happen, when pick-up deadlines are, and ensuring to stay on top of it.
- Ensure that your team is meeting KPI's.
- Being on the line 50% of the time, this ensures that you stay a professional at that task.
