Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join a Critical Access Hospital in Junction, Texas . Contract Length : 13 weeks

\n\t\n\t

Shift : Day shift – option of 5x8s or 4x10s

\n\t\n\t

Hours : 40 hours scheduled weekly

\n\t\n\t

Setting : Critical Access Facility

\n\t\n\t

Compensation : $50 / hour

\n\t\n

\n\nResponsibilities : \n\n \n\t

Perform routine and complex laboratory tests across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood banking.

\n\t\n\t

Collect and prepare samples according to laboratory protocols.

\n\t\n\t

Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring quality control and accurate test results.

\n\t\n\t

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to provide timely patient care.

\n\t\n\t

Adhere to all safety and infection control standards.

\n\t\n

\n\nRequirements : \n\n \n\t

Education : Associate’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

\n\t\n\t

Certification : ASCP or AMT certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) required.

\n\t\n\t

Experience : Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience; prior Critical Access or rural hospital experience a plus.

\n\t\n\t

Licensure : Must hold applicable state license if required.

\n\t\n\t

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a small-team environment.
