Job Position

Responsibilities : This position involves processing customer transactions of goods and services while providing superior customer service. The responsibilities include the following : providing excellent service and customer interaction, collecting payment for customer purchases, demonstrating suggestive selling techniques, bagging groceries for customers, monitoring and managing potential front-end shrink, making change and keeping an accurate till, answering product-related questions for customers, and ensuring company food safety and sanitation expectations are achieved by following SOP's.

Requirements : To qualify for this position, candidates must be at least 18 years old, complete company orientation, understand the basics of safety, possess produce certification, have alcohol seller's training, and checker training. Additionally, candidates must know how to identify produce, have basic mathematical skills, good communication and interpersonal skills, good problem-solving skills, the ability to lift moderately heavy loads, and the ability to bend, kneel, reach, push, and pull. Candidates must also be able to stand for a maximum of three hours.
