Gastroenterology Physician

Locums - Galesburg, Illinois, Gastroenterologist Job

• Must have an active Illinois medical license and be board certified in Gastroenterology
• Must be available a minimum of 5 consecutive shifts per month (more preferred)

Description :

General GI - care of acute and chronic GI conditions, new patient access, endoscopies, and hospital consults

Expected median productivity

The group will work with the locum physician on call expectations - prefer as much call coverage as possible, but open to multiple candidates

Responsibilities include outpatient support, ambulatory scopes, patient admits, and rounding

Current locums have been providing a mix of ambulatory, inpatient, and ED coverage - this remains the preferred model

Required Procedures :

General GI care

Endoscopies

Hospital consults

Schedule :

Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m. or 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m.

Possible night call

No weekend coverage
