About This Role

We are hiring a dynamic Senior Designer to join our AppExchange UX team. AppExchange is the world’s largest B2B marketplace, powering the Salesforce ecosystem with thousands of apps, components, data solutions, and consulting services. We’re redefining how customers discover, evaluate, and adopt technology to extend Salesforce. We recently launched AgentExchange, your stop for prebuilt AI solutions and tooling. We’re a tight-knit team working at the intersection of marketplace design, enterprise scale, and AI-powered innovation. We value systems thinking, thoughtful storytelling, collaboration and drive. To be successful in this role, you will bring a passion for craft, top notch visual design skills and the ability to influence in an enterprise environment.

Experience / Skills Required

• 5+ years of experience designing and delivering software products from start to finish as part of a cross-functional team.
• Ability to deliver solutions on time independently and with on-site and distributed teams
• Deep understanding of user-centered design methods and best practices, and experience using analytics and research to drive decisions and develop product iterations.
• Ability to explore ideas, persuade, and build consensus on fast-moving projects with varying degrees of ambiguity and deadlines.
• Capability to deliver original, high-quality design work that is conceptually strong, meets business needs, and is at the right level of fidelity for each phase of a project.
• Strong communication and active listening skills, with an ability to build and develop close, trusting relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders across product and engineering.
• Familiar with managing large design initiatives, including managing competing priorities.
• Demonstrated desire to continually improve on processes.
• Can design and think in design systems, not just single-purpose apps.
• Can consider how a design impacts ethics and equality, and have the conviction to speak up if veering off course.
• Expert knowledge of current design tools, such as Figma, along with an ability to learn new tools.
• BA / BS or MA / MS in a design-related field, or equivalent experience.
