Job Details

We are looking for a senior-level attorney to join our growing Private Funds & Investment Management practice in New York. This role is ideal for someone with at least six years of experience advising private fund sponsors and institutional investors on fund formation, structuring, governance, and compliance matters.

What you’ll do with us :

Work with private equity, venture capital, real estate, credit, and hedge fund sponsors on all stages of the fund lifecycle, including formation, fundraising, and secondary transactions.

Draft and negotiate core fund documents such as partnership agreements, offering memoranda, subscription agreements, management agreements, and side letters.

Advise major institutional investors—including pensions, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and funds-of-funds—on investments and co-investments.

Provide ongoing regulatory and compliance guidance to fund managers, including SEC registration and examinations.

Support related corporate and transactional matters, including GP-led restructurings, secondaries, and acquisitions of investment managers.

What we’re looking for :

J.D. from an accredited law school with admission to the New York Bar.

At least six years of strong private funds experience at a leading law firm or boutique.

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client relationship skills.

A proactive, detail-oriented team player who can manage multiple complex matters with confidence.
