About The Position

License : State License Required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must-Have : Strong proficiency in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures. Level I trauma experience.

Description :

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.

You will be responsible for managing the care of primarily cardiac patients.

The patient ratio will be 1 : 1.

The operating room has a bed size of 16.

You can expect to average 35-50 cases per day with an expectation for turnovers of less than 20 minutes.

Special equipment includes 3 robotic surgical systems and Stealth technology for neuro navigation.

You will primarily use specific brands for orthopedic trauma procedures.

You may be required to perform both scrub and circulate roles.

Call for weekends is required from the end of shift on Friday until Monday morning.

You will be required to float across various campuses.

The environment includes service lines such as cardiac, neuro, orthopedic trauma, robotics, gynecology, urology, general surgery, pediatrics, and transplants.

A limited volume of ENT and plastic procedures are also performed.

This position is not suitable for first-time travelers.
