Cashier

Emish Market , located in Fife, WA, is a Ukrainian grocery store offering a wide variety of imported goods from Ukraine and other European countries. In addition to our market, we feature a full-service café, bakery, and meat department serving freshly made Ukrainian dishes, pastries, and specialty meats. Our mission is to provide warm, friendly, and efficient service that makes every shopping trip a great experience.

We're looking for a friendly and dependable Cashier to join our front-end team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has great attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do :

• Greet customers warmly and assist with purchases
• Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately
• Bag groceries and assist customers with their orders
• Answer questions about store products, promotions, and services
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Assist with stocking shelves and merchandising when needed
• Follow all cash handling and customer service procedures

This position offers two schedule options. Candidates should be available for one of the following fixed schedules :

Option 1 (26.5 work hours with 30-minute lunch) :

Friday : 3 : 00 PM - 12 : 30 AM

Saturday : 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM

Sunday : 12 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Option 2 (36 work hours with 30-minute lunch) :

Thursday : 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM

Friday : 3 : 00 PM - 12 : 30 AM

Saturday : 12 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sunday : 1 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Pay Range : $18 - $19 per hour, depending on experience
