Job Title : Medical Affairs Quality Education Design Specialist (Part-Time, Hybrid / Remote)
Duration : 9+Months contract
Summary :
Client is looking for a part-time specialist to design and deliver training programs for our Medical Affairs team. This hybrid role combines in-office (3–4 days / week) and remote work (up to 24 hours / week) and supports training related to our Quality Management System (QMS). Occasional travel (up to 20%) may be required.
Key Responsibilities :
Training Design & Delivery
Create engaging learning materials (in-person and virtual)
Develop e-learning modules using tools like Articulate Storyline or Captivate
Manage content in Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Learning Needs & Evaluation
Identify training needs and recommend solutions
Measure training effectiveness and improve based on data and feedback
Collaboration & Support
Work with subject matter experts to define learning goals
Support trainers with instructional tools and best practices
Compliance & Accessibility
Ensure all training meets ADA, EEO, and other regulatory standards
Apply adult learning principles and inclusive practices
Performance Tracking
Build dashboards to monitor training and QMS performance metrics
Qualifications : Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field
Experience :
At least 2 years in instructional design or adult learning
Experience in the medical device or regulated industry is a plus
Technical Skills :
Experience with e-learning tools and LMS platforms
Familiarity with ADDIE, SAM, and Bloom’s Taxonomy (preferred)
Project Management :
Strong organizational and teamwork skills
Experience with project management tools; PMP is a plus
Role Details : Location :
Hybrid (based in Durham, NC) / Remote
Schedule :
Up to 24 hours / week; typically 8 AM–5 PM, 3–4 days / week
Travel :
Up to 20% (occasional nights / weekends for global support)
