Shift Manager Restaurant
Position Summary : Responsible for managing the activities of all F&B Team Members during a shift, ensuring all functional job duties are performed according to established company policies.

Target Pay : $62,500 - $72,500
Essential Job Functions :
- Ensures all guests are served in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner
- Builds relationships with guests and leads his / her team members to deliver superior service to our guests
- Ensures proper staffing for forecasted volume and budgetary guidelines
- Possesses excellent conflict resolution skills
- Communicates any problems or concerns to the Director Food and Beverage or other departments as needed
- Cultivates and enforces company and department policies and procedures
- Notifies and trains team members on any changes in policy and procedure
- Maintains thorough communication between shifts
- Works well as a team with leaders within Food & Beverage and throughout the property to ensure proper communication
- Properly and thoroughly completes all administrative responsibilities required in his / her role
- Monitors business levels and adjusts staffing levels as necessary to ensure all beverage outlets are staffed appropriately
- Assists trainers in properly training new team members
- Assists team members in their duties as needed
- Maintains a constant awareness of services, promotions, and events offered at Rivers and communicates this information to all team members
- Maintain high sanitation standards and ensures all Board of Health regulations are adhered to
- Maintains sufficient materials and products in the work location
- Sets high standards by complying with all departmental rules, policies, and procedures
- Ensures that all team members are treated in a fair and consistent manner
- Maintains professional grooming and appearance and acts as a role model according to established grooming and appearance policy
- Performs any other duties as specified or assigned by the Director or any member of the Executive Management
- Coach and train on policies and procedures
- Directly communicate with Director Food and Beverage on all menu changes
- Review and analyze food and beverage costs
- Understand and manage Profit and Loss statements
- Assist in recruiting, recommend for hire of new team members
- Develop, train and guide outlet chefs and supervisors
- Ensure overall outlet is ran efficiently, to include but not limited to sanitation & cost, labor
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Possesses complete knowledge of all procedures related to the jobMust possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests, supervisors, and team membersThree to five years' experience in the hospitality field, with at least 1-year supervisory experience or equivalent trainingMust have successfully completed and maintain certification in ServSafe (Food Sanitation Management) and Responsible Alcohol Training within 90 days of employmentAdequate knowledge of beer, wine, and spirit offerings and industry trends is requiredMust be able to use a computer and fluent in Microsoft Office applicationsMust be able to understand and communicate Safety Data Sheets to all team membersMust possess a cooperative, helpful, and friendly natureAbility to work flexible shifts, hours, and days of the week, including holidays and weekendsAbility to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process and maintain all licensing requirementsWorking Conditions :
