Staff Accountant

Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa is seeking a dynamic individual to join our growing organization as Staff Accountant.

The Staff Accountant is responsible for the preparation of financial statements for assigned departments / sites including detailed income statements. Will work with the Financial Controller and Practice Directors on special projects.

Duties Include (but not limited to) :

• Prepare and maintain work papers on balance sheet accounts for assigned PCI department / sites; reconcile balances with general ledger on a monthly basis
• Prepare necessary journal entries and recurring journal entries for assigned PCI departments
• Prepare monthly financial statements for assigned PCI departments / sites
• Serve as backup for Accounts Payable and Payroll
• Maintain fixed asset schedules for certain assigned entities
• Prepare various cost / financial analyses as assigned
