We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client in Winston-Salem, NC. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, maintaining financial records, and supporting the overall efficiency of their accounts payable operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes across multiple departments or entities.
• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
• Perform three-way match of invoices, purchase orders, and packing slips.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare and process payments via checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Maintain organized and audit-ready vendor files and documentation.
• Support month-end close activities, including accruals and reporting.
• Assist with 1099 preparation and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve payment issues.
