The Electric Vehicle Project Manager will support programs and technical services across BV divisions related to the rapidly growing electric vehicle (EV) market. This role leads the planning, execution, and successful delivery of EV infrastructure projects-ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes that accelerate the transition to sustainable mobility. The ideal candidate will bring a proven background in project management, hands-on experience in the EV or renewable energy sector, and a deep understanding of the technical requirements for EV infrastructure.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Support the implementation and installation of public and private EVSE (electric vehicle supply equipment) infrastructure projects nationwide.
Foster a proactive, customer-centric culture to build trust with clients, EVSE developers, utilities, municipalities, technology providers, and internal stakeholders.
Manage multiple EVSE projects simultaneously, overseeing development from concept through closeout.
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics.
Direct every stage of the project lifecycle-including site assessments, entitlement, design, permitting, bidding, contracting, construction, and final commissioning.
Oversee and coordinate consultants, general contractors, vendors, specialty contractors, and internal departments.
Lead project budget development, forecasting, risk management, and change order processes.
Leverage web-based project management platforms to streamline workflows and reporting.
Collaborate closely with EV team members, construction planning, operations, and business development to resolve site host and customer issues.
Partner with operations and contractors to ensure timely responses to rebate, grant, and incentive applications for public charging stations.
Contribute to program design, customer enrollment strategies, and accurate incentive tracking / reporting.
Ability to travel extensively (up to 70%) across the U.S. to project sites and client offices.

Qualifications
Education and / or Experience :
B.S. or B.A. Degree in Construction, Architecture, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in project or account management within EV infrastructure, renewable energy, or related industries.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and permitting for EVSE or similar infrastructure.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations :
Strong consideration will be given to those that are PMP and LEED certified
Valid driver's license is required with no significant MVA points / violations.
Other Qualifications :
Ability to travel, on average, up to 70% of time to client sites and offices across the U.S. via plane and driving as determined based on the project location. Overnight stays away from home may be required.
Passionate about advancing EV adoption and the clean energy transition.
Familiarity with EVSE hardware / software, grid integration, and charging network technologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Strong problem-solving abilities with a track record of delivering complex projects on schedule.
