About The Position

Job Title : Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Specialty : Medical Surgical Oncology

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years required

License : Active RN license required

Certifications : Oncology certification preferred

Must-Have :

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty required
• No first-time travelers, unless they have 3 years of recent experience
• Compliance with all licensing guidelines

Description :

This position is for a Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse.

The nurse will work in a fast-paced environment.

The nurse will be responsible for providing quality patient care.

The nurse will engage in team nursing with a ratio of 1 : 6 or 1 : 7.

All travelers must submit their requested time off upon application.

They must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

No local travelers will be considered.

Travelers must reside at least 100 miles from the facility.

Must have previous charge experience and experience with patient ratios.

Charting experience is necessary.

Cerner experience is preferred.

Must be prepared to float between like units when needed.

Late submission of requested time off will not be honored.
