Production Planner

Join our dynamic team as a Production Planner, where you will play an integral role in the Mill Department. Your primary focus will be to create and manage daily schedules for the production floor, ensuring efficient processing of cabinet cuts. You will also be responsible for reviewing 'No Demand' and Excess Inventory reports, setting up schedules within four hours of a shift, and monitoring stock levels. This role is critical in forecasting material needs, tracking production processes, and optimizing efficiency while minimizing waste.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage daily production schedules for cabinet cuts.
  • Review 'No Demand' and Excess Inventory reports regularly.
  • Ensure schedules are set up within four hours of a shift.
  • Monitor stock levels and forecast material needs.
  • Track production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel, including Macros and Formulas.
  • Strong comprehension and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to recognize and identify letter and number combinations.
  • Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, changing environment.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in production, general labor, inspection, and assembly.
  • Knowledge in forklift operation, general production, and packaging.
  • Expertise in production planning, scheduling, and supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in inventory and schedule planning, as well as inventory management.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, California.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
