- 14.5M square feet of small parcel, personalization, furniture, and manufacturing space in the domestic US, Williams-Sonoma has developed an agile and capable distribution network consisting of the following :
Large package / furniture distribution centers located in Southern California, Northern California, Texas, Georgia, and New Jersey totaling 9.2M square feet plus another 1.2M square feet of standalone final-mile furniture hubs.
Small package eCommerce distribution centers located in Mississippi and Arizona totaling 3.2M square feet, consisting of over 1,000 full-time associates and 1,500 seasonal / temporary associates in Mississippi :Sutter Street Manufacturing upholstery factories located in North Carolina and Mississippi totaling with over 1,400 full-time employees producing approximately $900 million to $1 billion in sales of upholstered furniture.
Transportation Department for Ocean, Air, Trucking, and Rail consisting of over 30 transportation professionals located in Memphis, TN.700 associates in our Sourcing offices in 10 countries in Asia and Europe including China, Vietnam, Singapore, India, Italy, and Turkey.The Business System Analyst position is located in Arlington, TX.

You'll be excited about this opportunity because you will :
Conduct data analysis and research related to distribution center operations, identifying variances, discrepancies, and gaps. Use these findings to identify improvement opportunities and provide timely recommendations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute continuous improvement projects, adhering to Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.Develop reporting tools and create dashboards using Business Intelligence Software (e.g., QlikSense and Power BI) to enhance visibility and support data-driven decision-making.Independently initiate, research, investigate, analyze, define, and document process changes to enhance productivity and efficiency.Understand the organization's direction, structure, and requirements.Provide regular updates on project milestones, promptly informing clients and project managers of any potential delays.Assist in developing project plans using appropriate project planning tools, including work plans, schedules, milestones, critical paths, detailed tasks, and deliverables.Support the planning, development, and execution of test plans.Maintain issue logs and proactively track and follow up on problems.Continually seek opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction.Create and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), contributing to a comprehensive knowledge repository.Check out some of the required qualifications we are looking for in amazing candidates :
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics Management.At least 1 years of experience in relevant warehousing experience.Strong technical skills in SQL and Business Intelligence (BI) tools. Advanced knowledge of Excel, VBA, and Macros would be highly advantageous.Experience in data extraction, mining, and modeling, as well as process mapping and root cause analysis.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects within specified time frames.Knowledge of current best practices in Supply Chain Optimization, Transportation, and Distribution.A self-starter who takes initiative and can work with minimal supervision.Review these physical requirements, as they play a major part in this role :
