Improvement of the process of transferring repair work scope from the approved maintenance program to purchase orders and the return of repaired components into the MIS Coordinate and direct the execution of preflight and post-flight activities to ensure aircraft test readiness Provide configuration control of aircraft software and hardware configurations to ensure that hardware, software, and instrumentation configurations are correct to meet test objectives Coordinate maintenance and logistic support for systems checkouts, flight operations, and anomaly troubleshooting Aeronautical Engineer, Flight Dynamics Innovations, Fort Worth, TX Develop and maintain high-fidelity simulation codes to support the design and evaluation of prototype flight control systems. Development and testing of candidate navigation guidance and control algorithms, and real-time flight control codes. Create additional depth in all the NGC competencies, however, additional expertise for development, sustainment, and application of the NGC simulation framework is the highest priority skill set being sought with this posting. Applying simulation codes within hardware-in-the-loop simulation environments. Applying real-time software on embedded computing platforms in an aerospace context. Work collaboratively with the NGC team to develop, apply, and test flight control system-level solutions. Work is currently ongoing in support of multiple upcoming planned flight tests which will occur over the course of the next few years at various National missile test ranges. Grow into leadership positions in the NGC department involving similar applications for other sponsored programs. Coordinate with other organizations associated with test readiness.
