Job Summary : Partner with Guidepoint vehicle services team to onboard new customers on Guidepoint’s vehicle telematics systems at their place of business. Perform device installation, technical product training, installation quality tests, and troubleshooting. Travel estimated at less 20%, concentrated in the Midwest Detroit Metropolitan region of the continental US, but may expand with Guidepoint Systems' growth.
Job Elements :
Qualifications : 3-5 years working with installation and testing of automotive aftermarket electronics systems. Able to complete basic installation of electronic devices in a vehicle using a pass-through OBD wire harness. Knowledge of basic electrical concepts is required. Prior technician experience is . Knowledge of PC data logging tools is a plus.
Excellent verbal communication skills are required, as customer contact will be frequent. The ability to schedule and coordinate activities, resolve issues, and leverage Guidepoint’s technical support network is essential to the role.
