The Senior Marketing Strategy Specialist is responsible for running and delivering marketing campaign tactics developed by the business and marketing leadership teams for James Martin Vanities and Minka Lighting (Ferguson Own Brand Companies).

This role serves as a liaison on marketing projects for the business ensuring all necessary information is gathered for efficient campaign delivery and activation. The role requires understanding of marketing channels and tactics, communication, organization, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. In this role, you will apply digital media expertise and data-driven thinking to drive traffic and sales through marketing channels such as paid search, organic and paid social, website, and display.

This is a hybrid role out of either of the following Ferguson offices in Newport News, VA, South Bend, IN or Cincinnati, OH, according to company policy.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with and reporting into Manager Brand Marketing on development of digital media strategies (specifically social media, SEO, and website) that perform in tandem with an integrated media and paid media strategy.
  • Support daily operations of paid search, paid social, website, and other channels, in close coordination with external partners and with a focus on handling budgets and driving traffic at a profitable return on ad spend.
  • Create and provide regular reporting to Marketing Leadership, showing results against target benchmarks, along with actionable insights and identifying innovation solutions to exceed goals.
  • Present findings to key internal leadership in a digestible and informative way.
  • Work on complex problems / projects where situations or data analysis requires and in-depth evaluation of multiple factors and / or cross-channel collaboration.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Leadership and Creative team on brief development for assets needed for annual, seasonal, and event planning.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop integrated campaign briefs and templates to inform and enable marketing campaigns and tactics.
  • Handle relationships with agency partners.

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of related marketing experience.
  • Previous experience working as main point of contact for external agencies' ideal.
  • Positive attitude, dependable, resourceful, and driven are key characteristics.
  • Proven experience delivering digital and social media strategies for a growing brand.
  • Passion for digital media and an aim to continue to learn more and keep up with the latest trends and guidelines.
  • Staying up to date on SEO and trends.
  • Proven ability to create and interpret reports that assess campaign delivery against critical metrics and find opportunities to improve digital campaign performance.
  • Expertise in digital channels and how they align to funnel stages.
  • Strong point of view with an understanding of business objectives.

    This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
