At NEI Global Relocation, we partner with corporate clients to assist their relocating families within the United States and Globally. As an Expense Auditor, you will assist relocating families by conducting final reviews of expense reports for accuracy and compliance with relocation policies. This position provides support to NEI Expense Administrators, who process the expense reports, and ensures our client’s processes and policies are followed to facilitate a smooth transition throughout each family’s move.
Job Objective :
Provide customer service to our clients who utilize the expense tracking function and conduct final review of expense reports. Assist in training and educating Expense Administrators.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Audit expense reports for compliance with the client’s relocation policy.
- Review information being sent to an employee, NEI Account Executive, and client contact regarding denied / suspended expenses.
- Review tracked expenses in appropriate software package and information in NEI database.
- Assist in training and educating Expense Administrators.
- Review tax withholdings / gross-up calculations in accordance with the client’s gross-up policy.
- Ensure that expense reimbursements and tax withholdings / gross-ups are reported to payroll and / or accounts payable.
- Handle calls and e-mails from transferees and client contacts (e.g., payroll, accounts payable, travel) regarding expense reimbursements and tax gross-up questions.
- Correspond with employees upon completion of move to verify all expenses have been submitted.
- Prepare weekly advance and outstanding issues reports.
- Analyze bi- weekly / monthly / quarterly payroll reports provided by client, if applicable.
- Compile and review expense information for clients upon request and for quarterly / year-end reports.
- Assist in providing employees and clients with individual year-end relocation tax reports.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications :
Working knowledge of Word, Excel & Outlook, type 50 wpm, and 10-key by touchExcellent grammar and proofing skillsPayroll / Accounts Payable experience; tax gross-up experience a plusOrganized and process driven to ensure complianceRelocation industry experience considered a plus, but not necessaryAttention to detail, a strong aptitude for numbers, accuracy, and ability to multitaskStrong and friendly communication skills, written and oralCareer Growth & Benefits
