Residence Life Coordinator (RLC)
Colorado School of Mines has an opening for a Residence Life Coordinator (RLC) who is responsible for supporting student leadership experiences across all residential communities. The RLC serves on the professional staff team for the Department of Residence Life and reports to an Assistant Director of Residence Life. Responsibilities include advising the Campus Living Student Association, supporting Community Councils, and acting as an interim RLC in the event of a short-term vacancy. The RLC must possess excellent decision-making, organization, advising, and leadership skills. This position is a 12-month live-in position that requires flexible scheduling designed to address participation in the on-call rotation throughout the year and during weekdays, weekends, and holidays including fall break, Thanksgiving break, winter break, and spring break. Additionally, this position may be called upon to support vacancies on our professional team and flex role responsibilities on a temporary basis.
The Office of Residence Life is a fast-paced, student-centered, collaborative environment that is growing to serve more students. We are an office of 18 professionals and 100+ student staff, who work hard to make Residence Life and the Mines campus a positive community for all students and for each other. We take our jobs very seriously, but don't take ourselves too seriously. A sense of humor and the ability to be adaptable are important for this role. A positive attitude and desire to contribute to a team and to the campus community are also imperative for this role. No single day looks the same, and often our carefully curated schedules get thrown out the window when opportunities to serve our students come up.

Additional Duties
Duties will include up to 20% of overall work and can change as deemed necessary by the Associate Director of Residence Life. Possible collateral duties include, but are not limited to, the following :

$56,485 - $59,152
