Process Controls Engineer | Detroit, MI

Overview

IMEG, one of the largest design consulting firms in the U.S., seeks a Controls Project Designer in the Farmington Hills, MI office. The role involves providing control systems architecture / engineering design services to existing and new clients in the chemical, water and wastewater treatment industries, general manufacturing, food and beverage, and petrochemical sectors.

Principal Responsibilities

• Meet with existing clients on a regular basis to discuss projects
• Be involved in training and mentoring of staff
• Market control engineering services to existing clients
• Development and design of control systems
• Field troubleshooting of PLC and control devices
• Commissioning and start-up of systems
• Control Panel Design
• PLC / HMI Programming
• Development of Bill of Material (BOM) documentation
• Other duties as assigned
