A facility in western New York is seeking an experienced general anesthesiologist for locum coverage beginning November 3. Full‐time availability is preferred, though candidates available 1‐2 weeks per month will be considered. This is a hospital‐based assignment with weekday shifts and required weeknight / weekend call.

Schedule : Monday ‐ Friday; 8‐hour and 10‐hour shifts; rotating longer days

Dates : November 3, 2025 and ongoing

Call :

Weeknight call : 1 : 6 rotation, 7 p.m. ‐ 7 a.m.

Weekend call : Friday 7 p.m. ‐ Monday 7 a.m.

On‐call radius : 1 hour

Clinical Responsibilities :

Supervision model : 1 MD to 2‐4 CRNAs

No OB or trauma

Pre‐op and post‐op assessments

Required cases : Endoscopy

Orthopedic (joints, fractures, hand, podiatry)

General surgery (hernias, breast, gallbladders, bowel, colorectal)

Urology (cystoscopy, laser lithotripsy, hydroceles)

Gynecology (hysteroscopy, laparoscopy)

Spine (neuromonitoring, cervical, lumbar)

Vascular and ENT

Patient Age Range : 6 years and older

Experience Requirements : Anesthesiology experience required

EMR : Meditech
