Network / System Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network / System Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Addison, TX, Charlotte, NC, and Kennesaw, GA. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities :

• Serve as the primary engineer for SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE), with secondary responsibilities supporting SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business
• This role is critical to the stability, performance, and evolution of our on-premises SharePoint SE environment, will also contribute to the administration and support of our Microsoft 365 collaboration tools
• Serve as the primary engineer and subject matter expert for SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE)
• Design, configure, and maintain SharePoint SE farms, including patching, upgrades, service applications, and custom solutions
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of the SharePoint SE environment
• Provide secondary support for SharePoint Online, including site architecture, permissions, and governance
• Administer OneDrive for Business, ensuring reliable access and integration with Microsoft 365 services
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored SharePoint SE solutions
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and support guides
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and other tools
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance improvements
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and data governance
