Position Description :

This role combines the responsibilities of a residential electrician, battery installation lead, and construction manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electrical systems and construction, while also demonstrating the essential qualities of a construction manager, including excellent communication skills, proactive planning, and the ability to solve problems efficiently. As a Storage and PV Solar Electrician, you will be involved in all stages of the project, from design review and materials planning to job site management and installation. The role requires a well-rounded individual who can manage both the technical and operational aspects of solar and battery installations.

Responsibilities :

• Ensure project build meets or exceeds the customers expectations
• Supervises team members to ensure both quality control and project compliance to plans and specifications
• Attend pre-construction planning and hand-off meetings
• Contributes to and adheres to Safety Plan
• Plan and execute the transport, handling, and installation of all components of designed energy storage system (batteries, backup interface, generation and backup load sub-panels, etc.), PV solar inverters, disconnects, conduit and wire
• Coordinate, schedule and execute as-needed power shutdowns with customers
• Review BOMs, generate materials requests, and verify correct materials are available in time to maintain work flow
• Maintain plans, material specifications, as-builts and be knowledgeable in all aspects of each assigned project
• Responsible for project completion, on time, with minimal punch list
• Responsible for onsite compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Maintain a rapport with all the team members, demonstrating leadership abilities and good judgment
• Optimize the profitability of the company through planning, crew management, and build-efficiency without jeopardizing safety and quality of work
• Perform other duties as assigned
