Education Support Coordinator - Head Start Supervisor

Full-Time, 40 hours per week

Monday thru Friday 8am-4 : 30pm

This position will be responsible for supervising, coordinating and organizing all activities and duties for staff at (2) Denison, IA Classrooms & Another surrounding site to be determined

Education Support Coordinators provide direction, monitoring and evaluation of center activities and facilities to ensure compliance with state licensing codes and Head Start Performance Standards. Education Support Coordinators supervise Teachers and Assistant / Associate Teachers and create reports as directed.

BA / BS in Early Childhood Education, Child, Youth, & Family Studies, or Child, Adult, & Family Studies with two years supervisory and early childhood experience are required.

May possibly accept completion of an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education along with past supervisory experience in lieu of completion of Bachelor's education.

Ideal candidate must have the ability to work with children and families having various cultural, economic & social backgrounds.

Candidate must possess valid auto insurance, dependable transportation and a current valid driver's license as they are required for the position. Company vehicle(s) are available for job use as travel within WCCA's 10 county service area may occur regularly.

Strong written and verbal & communication skills are a must for position.
