Position Overview :
Revive Environmental is seeking a Project Manager to lead the execution of AFFF take-back programs and PFAS-related landfill projects. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering large-scale environmental projects with strict regulatory, budgetary, and safety requirements. The Project Manager will oversee subcontractors, manage scope / schedule / budget, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to manage customer orders from the time of sale to completion of the project. This role interfaces directly with the Operations team, delivering this service while taking directions and owning the customer experience. Revive has opportunities to establish processes that drive consistency, productivity, and clear alignment across multiple functions. This role has the leadership opportunity to design, build, and implement those critical practices into the business operation. This leadership involves aligning requirements with both internal and external resources.
This position works with urgency and transparency in responding to the needs of customers and internal teams to execute PFAS destruction services. Strong alignment with Operations and Commercial Sales teams is required, as well as coordinating with Finance and customer reporting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Execute Projects : Manage the execution of AFFF take-back programs and PFAS-related landfill projects simultaneously. Develop project plans and ensure that all tasks are completed on time and within budget, while considering customer requirements. Serve as the primary liaison with state agencies, regulators, landfill operators, and municipal partners.
- Customer Success Planning : Create and manage project schedules, resources, and budgets, and monitor project progress and identify areas of risk or opportunity. Ensure that project deliverables are met and implement and monitor quality assurance processes to improve customer satisfaction outcomes.
- Subcontractor & Vendor Management : Procure, negotiate, and oversee subcontractor performance on transportation, treatment, and disposal contracts. Monitor subcontractor safety, quality, and compliance with scope and budget. Implement corrective actions when performance does not meet standards.
- Budget Responsibility : Manage multi-million-dollar project budgets. Track costs, invoices, and reimbursements to ensure financial compliance with contracts and internal standards.
- Safety Leadership : Enforce HSE standards for all field activities, subcontractors, and project operations. Ensure all workers follow site-specific safety plans, PPE requirements, and hazard communication standards. Drive a culture of zero incidents across projects.
- Forecasting : Collaborate with Commercial Sales and Operations teams to develop project forecasts.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication Organization : Manage stakeholders, provide periodic updates, and identify and resolve project issues and conflicts. Act as a representative of Revive Environmental in external meetings.
- Design, Build, and Implement Processes : As required by the project, be a change agent within Revive to help build out and optimize key work processes and procedures to accelerate customer performance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree preferred but not required in engineering, science or business administration, or related fields.Experience : 5+ years of experience in project management in waste management, environmental services, water treatment, or related industries.Project Management : Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.Office Proficiency : Proficient in MS Office and project management software, including CRM software.Collaborative Nature : Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.Judgment and Decisioning Skills : Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a bias to action and a track record of learning from mistakes / opportunities.Curious Learner : Actively engage inside and outside Revive to develop knowledge of products, services, and industry to develop the best content and messaging.Ambitious self-starter with excellent time management and organization skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to travel to customer locations and field sites across the continental US.Able to drive on behalf of the company business when required.Must be a U.S. Citizen or naturalized Green Card holder, as defined by U.S. export control laws.Why Join Revive :
