Engineering Manager, Applied Research

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager, Applied Research (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of researchers focused on vulnerability management and risk detection content

Prioritize and delegate tasks for the Applied Research team, ensuring timely release of actionable intelligence on emerging risks

Research and implement techniques for asset discovery and vulnerability detection across various environments

Required Qualifications

Hands-on technical expertise in network scanning, device fingerprinting, or vulnerability detection

Proficiency in writing Go and experience with large Go codebases

Deep understanding of modern networking protocols and analysis tools

Familiarity with SQL and querying large datasets

Experience mentoring or managing engineers / researchers
