Willingness and ability to engage with people and organizations continuously. Understanding of Oracle Enterprise Manager. Healthcare industry experience and / or PHI / PII data management. Title : Technical Engineer – Consultant

Duration of the Contract : 12 months
Work Location : Role is 100% remote
Local Candidates : Only Local to SC and W2 Candidate.
Responsibilities
- The Senior SQL DBA supports multiple databases for application and infrastructure needs, collaborating with the project development team, Clemson Oracle Database Administrators, and IDMS DBAs.
- Advise development and product teams on data model extensions and changes.
- Hands-on SQL development and application support aligned with Microsoft best practices.
- Collaborate with Clemson's Oracle and IDMS DBAs to maintain test, staging, and production databases and develop operations procedures.
- Develop and execute data migration plans as needed for data transfers from existing stores.
- Coordinate with external entities, vendors, providers, professional associations, and other State agencies.
- Analyze performance data, recommend actions, and implement solutions for optimum performance.
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation.
- Other duties as assigned.
