Position Title : Floater / On-Call Substitute Teacher (Grades K12)

Compensation Rate : $20 to $25 per hour, depending on the assignment

Focused Staffing Group is hiring dedicated and flexible Floater / On-Call Substitute Teachers to support a charter school in Delaware. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive, mission-driven environment that values consistency, collaboration, and student success.

About the Role

As a Floater or On-Call Substitute Teacher , youll step into K12 classrooms to ensure learning continues seamlessly when full-time teachers are unavailable. Youll have the chance to work across various subjects and grade levels, supported by a collaborative team and clearly defined schedules.

What Youll Do

  • Lead classroom instruction using provided lesson plans
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Support diverse learners with patience and flexibility
  • Manage classroom behavior and foster positive student relationships
  • Provide timely feedback on student progress and maintain required records
  • Collaborate with staff and school leadership as needed
  • Adapt to different classrooms and learning styles with confidence

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required (Education or related field preferred)

  • Reliable and able to work with short notice during school hours

  • 2-Step TB Test
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Card (if available)
