: Job Summary

• The Surgical Services Assistant is a member of the healthcare team who performs a variety of technical and supportive duties to assist the surgical team during the patient’s perioperative phase of care under the supervision of the Registered nurse.

Job Requirements

◦ Required : High School Diploma or Equivalent

◦ Preferred : Previous hospital and / or medical experience

◦ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

◦ Exhibits valuable time management skills

◦ Strong analytical / problem solving skills

◦ Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment

◦ Required : BLS must be obtained within 90 days and maintained throughout employmentEducation : ▪ Required : High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience : ▪ Preferred : Previous hospital and / or medical experience
