Manager - SAP Operations (Project)

SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE :

• Core functional responsibility encompassing demand / supply planning, procurement, external manufacturing, intercompany transactions, and inbound logistics, so as to sustain and enhance Supply Chain global template.
• Lead the team in daily task assignments for production support and continuous improvement projects, ensuring adherence to project methodologies.
• Act as the IT center for PTP / PTM / forecast solutions, upholding global standards and championing unified solutions enterprise-wide.
• Pinpoint opportunities to initiate joint IT & functional programs for the development and deployment of new global capabilities.
• Oversee the scope of the PTP / PTM IT application portfolio throughout the application lifecycle.
• Cultivate and sustain a high-performing team, managing engagement of contract resources.
• Design project and release plans, and monitor project costs and schedules, ensuring timely and on-budget project completion.
• Grasp business objectives and propose technological solutions, offering guidance, options, and proof of concepts when required.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies in the SAP PTP / PTM and forecasting realms. Review product releases to pinpoint new capabilities that benefit our organization and develop strategies for their integration.
• Foster the adoption of platform technologies and shared best practices throughout the organization.
• Configure systems to enhance and expand capabilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and processes.
• Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations and support functions, ensuring system stability, efficiency, and responsiveness to user needs.

Will work in Northbrook, Illinois. Telecommuting / remote working allowed.

REQUIREMENTS :

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or a field with related coursework plus five (5) years of experience in job offered, SAP Analyst, Solutions Analyst, or related role.

Salary Range $124,072.00 to $160,000.00 / yr
