Pay Information

$275 to $325 per hour

About The Position

Exciting locum tenens opportunity for an Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon in South Carolina. Only a short drive from Charleston.

Highlights

  • No call required; maximize your personal time
  • Weekly pay for flexibility and convenience
  • Variety of cases in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Practice Setting

  • Mix of inpatient & outpatient care
  • Support staff includes MA's and Cast Techs in the clinic
  • Focus on hand trauma; no replants or oncology

    • Schedule

  • 1 week a month starting in January; please reach out for exact dates
  • Clinic : Tuesday & Thursday, 8 am - 5 pm
  • OR : Monday, Wednesday, & Friday, 7 : 30 am - 5 : 00 pm

    • Cases and Procedures

  • Comfortable with hand trauma cases required
  • Inpatient rounding volume : 0-5 per day
  • Expected surgical volume : 5-12 cases per OR day
  • Clinic volume : 20-40 patients per day

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery with sub-specialty training in Hand Surgery
  • South Carolina licensure required
