Staff Architect

Overview

Growing architecture & design studio well-established in high-end retail & hospitality design is currently hiring Staff Architects for their New York City office.

Responsibilities

• Architects will be responsible for everyday project activities, quality control and project delivery, overseeing all phases of the project from design to contract document and specification production, shop drawing checks, site visitation and project closeout.
• Have excellent technical knowledge and management skills and are able to plan, direct and monitor all aspects of projects.
• Direct the "hands on" drawing production efforts of the project team.
• Direct and coordinate workload with the project team and consultants to meet schedules.
• Review architectural documents for coordination with all disciplines.
• Have extensive knowledge and understanding of the project development process including construction, retail design, site planning, structural and MEP criteria.
