job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPrepare Arrival Notices and set up files Input data from agents and freight forwarders File Customs entries for clearance Coordinate with Customs and government agencies for cargo release Provide customer service Handle billing of files Perform ISF filing (import security filing) Manage Bill of Lading details, including cargo description, payment status, valuation, and regulations File Customs entries complying with government guidelines Work with CBP and quarantine issues Manage fees and duty taxes File necessary documents such as commercial packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, and liaise with PGA guidelines Sign documents on behalf of clients using power of attorney
Customs Entry Writer
Location : Cerritos - Los Angeles
Salary : $50k to $58k, depending on experience
Benefits : 401k, Dental insurance, Health insurance
Requirements :
- At least one year of current experience in Customs Entries within the Freight Forwarding industry
- Valid visa to work in the USA (Visa sponsorship not available)

Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have knowledge of international import transportation, import brokerage procedures, U.S. Customs and Border Protection ("Customs"), and Participating Government Agency ("PGA") requirements, including clearance, classification, and valuation processes.
This role requires excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask, and produce accurate workflows in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, contributing positively to the team's success.
The primary responsibilities include managing accounts from start to finish, preparing documentation for Customs clearance, providing exceptional customer service, and completing tasks assigned by supervisors.
