Part Time Nanny - Brooklyn

Part time live-out House Manager / Nanny required for a Brooklyn family with two young children starting ASAP. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, this will be a blended role with both house and child related duties and overall supporting a very busy family in their daily routine. Both parents are very hands on, and are looking for a candidate who can be dynamic and flexible in their responsibilities and show sound judgement across all aspects of the role. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, proactive and independent with good communication skills and who is a calm and collected individual. Someone who shows initiative with daily tasks, takes pride in a neat and tidy home and overall likes to stay busy will be successful in this home. A natural multi-tasker who enjoys meal preparation and making meals from scratch is essential. Flexibility is required for this family - some overnights, infrequent weekend travel (every 2-3 months) and additional travel once or twice a year is expected. This role is a partnership with the parents and other household team (nannies and housekeepers) - some flexibility is desired to support the family as needed outside of regular assigned hours (ie. travel weeks, switching schedules, etc). Fluency in Spanish is preferred.

Location : Carroll Gardens, NY

Start date : ASAP

Days / times : Guaranteed 30 hours / week (minimum) Friday to Sunday : general hours to land between 8am - 7pm with flexibility as needed for additional hours. Candidates should expect additional hours (35 hrs +) as needed to support the family (travel, late nights, etc). The family does employ a full time, mid week Nanny.

Children : Two young children : toddler boy (b. 2023) and infant girl (b. 2025). Son is in school weekday mornings, and a baby nurse is in place for the newborn until early 2026.

Conditions : $35 - $40 per hour
