Principal Onboarding Manager
To support Wholesale Onboarding with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution.
Support with day-to-day Wholesale Onboarding initiatives including KYC processing, reviewing (which can include Quality Checking), reporting, trading and issue resolution.
Collaboration and engagement with clients / front office to gather Customer Due Diligence information / evidence in order to onboard or refresh a clients KYC in line with documented policy.
Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate Wholesale Onboarding processes.
Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in Wholesale Onboarding processes.
Development and implementation of Wholesale Onboarding procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
Development of reports and presentations on Wholesale Onboarding performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Wholesale Onboarding.
Participation in projects and initiatives to improve Wholesale Onboarding efficiency and effectiveness.
Advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. Collaborate closely with other functions / business divisions.

The Principal Onboarding group operates within the investment banking division, delivering high-touch onboarding support for both internal and external stakeholders. This team facilitates onboarding requests for new markets entities and new products as principal, ensuring requests are fully completed in our onboarding systems and are ready to trade. You'll play a key role in maintaining operational excellence by ensuring precision in documentation, client data, and regulatory compliance. The team collaborates globally, supporting investment banking and market desks across the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
To be successful as a Principal Onboarding Manager, you should have :
Extensive experience in onboarding, client lifecycle management, KYC, or regulatory compliance, particularly in client-facing or service-oriented environments
Proven ability to manage high volumes of complex tasks, with a sharp focus on prioritization, organization, and timely execution
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, professionally, and with impact across diverse audiences
Some other highly valued skills may include : Broad knowledge across AML / KYC, regulatory frameworks, credit, legal, operations, and technology, supporting the ability to identify inefficiencies and drive process enhancements
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook, to manage workflows and communicate effectively
Familiarity with regulatory obligations in derivatives trading, including ISDA documentation and compliance with global standards such as Dodd-Frank and EMIR, contributing to effective risk and control management
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in Whippany, NJ.
Minimum Salary : $70,000
Maximum Salary : $135,000
The minimum and maximum salary / rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
