As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for students, faculty, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $16.25 / Hour

Job Schedule :

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting students, staff, and visitors as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues within the education environment to Allied Universal management and / or local authorities as required.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to those on the premises.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and / or providing directions to visitors.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding security-related incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
