About The Position

Job Title : Outpatient Physical Therapist

Profession : Therapy / Rehabilitation

Experience : Minimum 1 year

License : New Hampshire State License

Certifications : Required certifications and training in BLS, Dry Needling, and Lymphedema

Must-Have :

EPIC charting experience required

Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy

Experience in outpatient clinic settings

Description :

Oriented to the clinic by the manager.

Required skills include patient assessment and discharge planning.

Familiarity with home exercise programs and patient family education is essential.

Knowledge in AROM, AAROM, and PROM techniques is necessary.

Must be skilled in identifying environmental barriers and performing pain assessments.

Experience in strength testing and vital signs monitoring is required.

Ability to manage time effectively in a clinical setting is essential.

Experience with a variety of diagnoses such as ankle sprains, cervicalgia, and degenerative joint disease is required.

Knowledge of treatment for conditions including frozen shoulder, hip fractures, knee injuries, and low back pain is preferred.

Familiarity with post-operative rehabilitation protocols for cervical and shoulder surgeries is important.

Understanding of orthopedic conditions and treatments is preferred.

Skills in gait training and spinal mobilization are necessary.

Possessing techniques such as taping, lumbar traction, and the McKenzie method is a plus.

Use of therapeutic modalities such as TENS, ultrasound, and phonophoresis is beneficial.

Experience in rehabilitation for concussions and post-stroke patients is valued.

Requires the ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary support teams.

Demonstrated ability to reassess and develop short-term goals for patient care is required.

Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to patient-centered care.
