About The Position

Job Title : Resource Pool Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Specialty : ICU / PCU

Duration : 13 weeks, extendable up to 52 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (6 : 45 PM - 7 : 15 AM)

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large hospital setting

License : Active nursing license required

Certifications : BLS and ACLS required

Must-Have : Epic experience required

Description :

Resource Pool Registered Nurse needed for an ICU / PCU role.

Prefer candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a large hospital.

Traveler must be comfortable working in all ICU and PCU units.

Nurses may be assigned to different units every 4 hours based on hospital needs.

Patient ratios are 2 : 1 for ICU and 5 : 1 for PCU.

Previous charge experience is preferred.

Experience with arterial line management, blood product administration, and care of ventilated patients is required.

Skills in central line care / management and management of dysrhythmias are necessary.

Travelers are required to work at least one holiday during the contract period.

Compliance documentation will be due on a specified date before the start of the assignment.

All requests for time off must be submitted upfront.

Candidates who reside within 100 miles of the facility will be considered local.

Local candidates are not accepted for this position.

Travelers who have completed a previous assignment must have a minimum separation period before reapplying.

Modules may be required and will be recorded for pay post-approval.
