The Large Power Systems Division in Hodges, SC currently has an opening for a Pattern Maker Machinist.

In this role you will operate CNC machines, construct and repair all types of metal, wood, and plastic tool using conventional machines and bench work.

What you will do (includes but not limited to) :

• Use manual saws and table saws to prep and cut materials stock from wood, plastic and metal for CNC machines.
• Load cutting tools into CNC machines and zero HOME out the equipment.
• Create G-code programs to machine parts and materials with practical understanding of feed and speed.
• Operate interface display panel and run 3-Axis CNC milling machines.
• Operate and run manual CNC lathe machine.
• Daily operation of power hand tools : Drills, Saw, Impacts, Sanders etc.
• Assemble and construct pattern tooling that may include cavity, gating, risers, pinsetc.
• Construct and repair all types of metal, wood, and plastic patterns using conventional machines and bench work.
• Support Operation with Tools readiness and repairs.
• Patternmakers will be expected to learn other foundry operation functions and be expected to flex to those jobs as needed.
• Follow all PPE requirements and safely procedure.

Summary Pay Range : $25.95 - $33.05 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
