Job Description

Inter-Pacific, Inc. is a fast growing Electrical and Low Voltage Contractor located in Tustin, CA specializing in Data Cabling, CCTV, and Lighting . Primary customers include US Military, Federal Agencies, State and Local government offices. Inter-Pacific also has offices near Chicago and Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Review project plans, requirements, and specifications.
  • Determine labor and equipment costs.
  • Review accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing.
  • Review and understand all bid documents and assess project risks.
  • Understand project logistics and project schedule.
  • Prepare bid packages. Compare and analyze competitive subcontractor and supplier bids.
  • Review quotes and estimates with the Project Management Team.
  • Prepare estimates at different levels of completion (conceptual, Schematic, DD, CD, etc.)
  • Perform pre-construction duties and meetings with Clients, Owners, and Engineers.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or the equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience
  • Advanced computers skills with MS Office
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Extensive knowledge of construction costs and engineering principles
  • Well organized, flexible, detail oriented and multi-tasked.
  • Excellent written an oral communicator.
