Cardiac OR Operating Room Surgical Tech

Schedule : 12 hours, D / E / N ROTATING SHIFT SCHEDULES, Every Other Weekend (EOW), Holidays / On-Call / Callback / Charge per Unit Needs

Job Duties :

The OR cares for a wide variety of patients. Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, orthopedic, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma (level 1 trauma center). There are 2 Davinci robots that are used by multi-services. The transplant program involves livers, kidneys, and hearts.

The requirements for this role include

Job Requirements :

• Tech License (NY License ONLY)
• Two (2) years Experience OR experience in a level 1 trauma preferred
• Able to scrub and circulate
• Cardiac Experience Required : experience with scrubbing CABG, TAVRS,valves (minimally invasive and sternotomies), heart failure (VADs, Impella insertion, ECMO). Transplant experience is ideal but not required.
