Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Agent to join our team in a medical facility setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical administrative support and possess knowledge of medical terminology.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide information to callers.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information.
- Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate patient care.
- Handle billing inquiries and process payments.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.
- Assist doctors with medical procedures.
- Restock rooms with medical supplies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills and attention to detail.Knowledge of medical billing, coding, and authorizations.Education & Experience
Previous experience in a medical clinic or hospital setting is preferred.Familiarity with medical terminology and basic life support procedures.Proficiency in handling patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently.Experience with MacPractice.Quickbooks knowledge.Bilingual speaker.EMR systems : 1 year (Preferred).Additional Details
