Position Summary :
As a Team Member at Sbarro, you are the face of the brand and play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service and quality food. This position includes preparing menu items, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring each guest has a positive dining experience. Key Responsibilities :
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Accurately take customer orders and operate the POS system.
- Prepare and serve menu items such as pizza, pasta, stromboli, salads, and beverages.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstations, counters, and dining area.
- Restock food, utensils, and supplies as needed.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and make accurate change.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Uphold all Sbarro brand standards and procedures.
Qualifications :
Prior food service or retail experience is a plus, but not required.Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused.Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Willing to learn and follow instructions.Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Physical Requirements :
Stand for long periods (up to 8 hours).Lift up to 30 lbs.Work in a hot kitchen environment.Perform repetitive motions such as chopping, lifting, and reaching.
