Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician with expertise in operating bucket trucks and a specialization in lighting systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical lighting systems, including streetlights, commercial lighting, and outdoor fixtures, while safely operating bucket trucks in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate bucket trucks to access overhead lighting systems and electrical components safely and efficiently.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain lighting systems, including LED, HID, and other commercial / outdoor lighting fixtures.
• Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, and connections for lighting systems in compliance with NEC and local codes.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on lighting systems and bucket truck equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in lighting systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on job sites.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including OSHA standards, and ensure proper use of PPE and fall protection equipment.

USD $35.00 - USD $40.00 / Hr.
