The Role

Your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

• Lead the architecture and development of embedded electronic systems for robotic platforms, including sensor integration, power management, motor control, and communication subsystems.
• Design, develop, and review mixed-signal PCBAs using tools like Altium Designer.
• Collaborate with firmware and software teams to define hardware interfaces and ensure seamless system integration.
• Own the selection, validation, and qualification of electronic components, ensuring performance, cost, and reliability tradeoffs are well-balanced.
• Guide design for manufacturability (DFM), testing (DFT), and environmental robustness (EMI / EMC, thermal, ingress).
• Drive hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation in both lab and field environments.
• Serve as a mentor and technical leader to junior engineers and contractors.
• Interface with supply chain partners and manufacturing vendors to scale production.

What You Bring

We require the following qualifications :

oEmbedded processor and microcontroller systems (ARM Cortex-M, STM32, etc.)

oMixed-signal circuit design and PCB layout

oSensor interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, ADC / DAC)

oPower systems : DC / DC converters, battery management, motor drivers

oHigh-reliability and low-noise design practices
