California ESL Specialist Instructor

A company is looking for an ESL Specialist Instructor (Limited Term) to support the education of refugee women in learning English.

Key Responsibilities

Model effective teaching skills in oral English, numeracy, and beginning literacy

Maintain accurate client records and assess literacy levels at defined intervals

Oversee and train volunteers during class and assist in recruiting volunteers

Required Qualifications

Mature Christian faith and commitment to the organization's mission and values

Bachelor's degree or higher, ideally in Education, TESOL, or a related field

Prior teaching experience in education, ESL, and / or literacy

Fluency in written and spoken English

Valid US Driver's License and access to a reliable personal vehicle
